Velocity Ventilation.

Velocity had an approved design concept and a WordPress install still carrying a demo template kit and its page-builder plugins. The new site had to match the design, use the client's own wording as written, and stay editable by a non-technical team without a page builder in the way. The search market added a second problem: most people searching "kitchen exhaust" in Australia want cleaning, a service Velocity does not offer, so both the site and the ads had to speak to installation and replacement work.

• Removed the demo template kit and its page-builder plugins, then rebuilt on Kadence and Kadence Blocks with a 9-colour brand palette and Inter and Saira Condensed type set globally.
• Built an industrial design system from the approved prototype: a slowly rotating turbine in the hero, count-up trust stats and a 4-step process that animates into view, all switched off for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
• Rebuilt every section from native blocks and saved three reusable patterns, backed by a plain-English editing guide so the team updates text, images, services and the gallery without a page builder.
• Added a Fluent Forms quote form that redirects to a thank-you page, a floating WhatsApp and call dock on mobile, per-page meta in Rank Math, LocalBusiness schema covering Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and NSW, and LiteSpeed Cache.
• Planned Google Ads around installation intent: two search campaigns on phrase and exact match only, a negative list that blocks cleaning searches, and call and quote-form conversions tracked before launch.
