The challenge
The worldwide Roundnet community had no central directory. Clubs and federations existed across dozens of countries with no single place to find them, and no route for a new player to get from "is there a club near me" to actually joining one.
What we did
- Built the full stack in Kotlin: a Kotlin Multiplatform front end on a Ktor backend.
- Developed an interactive global map with marker clustering, plus search and filtering by location, country, club type and size.
- Built club claiming with representative verification, so reps manage their own listings under admin change tracking.
- Created a membership application workflow: players apply, club representatives approve or decline.
- Supported bulk CSV import to seed and maintain the global federation directory.
