The challenge
Health information online is written for clinicians, not patients. Someone with a symptom has to search scattered sources, decode terminology, and still not know whether to book a GP or a specialist. ChatDr needed an interface that answers in plain language, stays grounded in a structured medical knowledge base, and consistently points people toward professional care rather than standing in for it.
What we did
- Designed the application architecture and built the conversational health assistant.
- Integrated the AI layer with a structured knowledge base of diseases, symptoms, treatments and medicines.
- Built symptom-led question flows with context-aware follow-ups across a multi-turn conversation.
- Added specialist guidance so users learn which type of clinician fits their concern.
- Kept professional-care prompts in the response flow rather than positioning the tool as diagnosis.
